What problem does it solve?
Preparing a reliable product feed manually is time-consuming and feeds can become outdated when prices, stock or variants change. WB ProductFeedz generates an XML product feed from your PrestaShop catalog for Google Merchant Center.
Features
- Export products, variants, prices, images, availability and product links.
- Choose feed language, currency, country and description source.
- Configure brand fallback, condition, Google category and shipping price.
- Include or exclude variants, inactive products, out-of-stock products and zero-price items.
- Use a token-protected feed URL with caching and configurable refresh hours.
- Generate the feed manually or through your scheduled server task.
Compatibility
Compatible with PrestaShop 8 and 9. The module declares PrestaShop 8.0+; PHP compatibility follows the PHP versions supported by your PrestaShop release. Multilingual and multi-currency feed settings are supported. Test each multistore shop and Google Merchant configuration separately.
External service and data
The module generates a feed on your server and does not automatically upload catalog data to Google. Google Merchant Center or another party receives the catalog only when it fetches the protected URL you provide. The feed can contain product names, descriptions, prices, stock, images and links; do not put personal data into catalog fields.
Included, licence and support
Version 1.0.0, module ZIP and setup documentation are included. One shop licence is included unless the offer states otherwise. Updates and support follow the period stated on this page. Support covers feed settings and reproducible generation errors, not Google account approval, product policy decisions or custom feed development.
Installation and initial setup
- Back up shop files and database, then install the module ZIP.
- Set language, currency, target country, description source, brand, condition, Google category and shipping price.
- Configure variants and rules for inactive, unavailable or zero-price products.
- Generate the feed, test the token-protected URL and schedule a daily server job.
- Before submission, sample-check price, availability, image, link and variants.
Troubleshooting
- The feed is empty: verify module activation, language, shop context and stock/price exclusion rules.
- The feed URL returns 403: use the full URL with the current token and update Merchant Center after token rotation.
- Values are stale: check cache interval, last generation time and cron execution.
- Google rejects items: compare the affected XML fields with current Merchant Center diagnostics.
For any error, preserve PrestaShop and PHP logs, document the exact steps and reproduce the behaviour without cache in staging.
